Nosy Komba Island Tour by Boat
By boat, we follow the entire coastline — from Ampangorina to Anjiabe, via Antamontano (pirogue carpenters' village) and Andrekareka (potters' village). Snorkeling in coves, stops in villages. Dolphins often escort the return journey.

Lokobe Reserve
Lokobe is the last primary forest on Nosy Be — 740 hectares accessible only by pirogue from Ambatozavavy. Wild black lemurs, panther chameleons, boa constrictors, endemic flora. Insect repellent essential.

Nosy Tany Kely — Snorkeling
Uninhabited island 20 minutes by boat, with an intact coral reef. Snorkeling over corals, relaxing on the white sand beach. Perfect for a half day.

From July to October, humpback whales migrate through the Mozambique Channel off Nosy Komba. Boat trip to observe them — breaches, blows, flukes. High sighting rate in season. Book in advance.

Sunset Pirogue
2-hour trip by traditional pirogue at sunset. No agenda — just the calm, orange light over the lagoon, and sometimes dolphins. Sundowner option available on request.

Traditional Fishing
Trip with the lodge's local fishermen partners. Line fishing from the pirogue, return with the catch of the day — sometimes cooked that evening by the team.

Kayak
From the lodge, paddle your way along the rocky coves and wild coastline of Nosy Komba. Early in the morning the sea is glass-calm and the low light reveals the jungle plunging straight into the water. A simple, quiet activity — just the lap of the waves and birdsong. Perfect for children and beginners alike.
